Our
Story
T3 Telecoms SA (T3TSA) was established in 2018 to disrupt the status quo and drive transformation in South Africa’s telecommunications sector. Born from a vision to democratize access to mobile services and digital tools, T3TSA combines cutting-edge innovation with grassroots reach to deliver meaningful solutions to individuals and communities.
What does “T3” stand for? It represents the three pillars that drive our business – Technology, Transformation, and Trust. These values are deeply embedded in everything we do, from product development to community outreach.
Our company is 50% owned by the T3 Consortium, a 100% black economic empowerment (BEE) entity, and 50% by Blue Label Telecoms, a well-established telecoms player. This unique ownership structure ensures that we maintain deep local insight while leveraging global expertise to scale our impact.

Model
T3TSA generates revenue through the sale of mobile starter packs and other prepaid services. Our national distribution network reaches retail chains, informal traders, spaza shops, and wholesalers. With a presence in all nine provinces, we ensure our offerings are accessible, impactful, and scalable.
